CHIA SEEDS

Chia seeds (Salvia Hispanica), a plant native to Central America, widespread in central and southern America but still poorly known in Europe, are small "caskets" containing excellent nutritional values; they contain macronutrients and micronutrients in large quantities and are antioxidants. Naturally rich in polyunsaturated fats and omega-3 fatty acids. High in Protein and Fiber. Source of Vitamin B3, Vitamin E, calcium, potassium and phosphorus. Directions for use: Raw as such, in the preparation of salads, fruit salads and tasty dishes. As a garnish on goat cheese, ricotta and mascarpone
